Converting Customers Mac OS X Email Client Accounts to NTS New Domain Hosting System

 

 

1. Open the Mac OS X email client

 

2. Click Mail -> Preferences

 

3. Highlight your account and click the Edit button to the right.

 

 

4. Click on the Advanced tab at the top.

 

5. Make sure the check box next to “Remove copy from server after retrieving a message.” is checked.

   

    Also, make sure the box directly below is set to “Right away”.

 

 

6.      Click OK

7.      Click Close

8.      Click Get Mail in the toolbar. This will download the remaining pop3 email on the nts-online.net account.

9.      Click Mail -> Preferences

10.  Highlight your account and click the Edit button to the right.

11.  The “Incoming Mail Server” should be set to pop3.yourdomain.com

The “Username” should be set to your full email address, youremail@yourdomain.com

 

 

12.  Click on the Options button below “Outgoing Mail Server

The “Outgoing Mail Server” should be set to smtp.yourdomain.com

Authentication” should be set to “Password”, and once again “User Name” is your full email address

      Also, enter your password here.

 

 

13.  Click OK

14.  Click OK

15.  Close the Accounts window

16.  Send a test message and make sure the converted account is working.
