Converting Customers Outlook 2000
Email Accounts to NTS New Domain Hosting
System
1. Open Outlook 2000
2. Click on Tools > Services
3. Select the email account that you will change the settings. Then, click on the Properties button. You will see a pop-up window.
4. Click on the Advanced tab on the pop-up window, and make sure that in Delivery “Leave a copy of messages on the server” is unchecked. Click OK.
5. After you click OK, this pop-up window will appear. Click OK, and close all the other pop-up windows by clicking OK.
6. Click on File > Exit and Log Off for exiting from Outlook.
7. Open Outlook 2000 again.
Click on Tools > Services
8. Select the email account that you will change the settings. Then, click on the Properties button. You will see a pop-up window.
9. Click on the Servers tab, and change the fields as AFTER image states.
Please insert
these settings:
Incoming mail
(POP3): pop3.yourdomain.com
Outgoing mail
(SMTP): smtp.yourdomain.com
Account Name:
username@yourdomain.com

REMINDERS!

Please do NOT forget to
type the all email account to the Account Name
as you have seen above.

forget to check the checkbox that says, “My server requires
authentication” if it has not been checked already!

10. Click OK. This pop-up window will show up. Click OK on the pop-up windows.
11. Your email account is converted. Send an email to test it.
