Converting Customers Outlook 2003 Email Accounts to NTS New Domain Hosting System

 

1.      Click on the Tools menu, as seen below, and then click on E-mail Accounts.

 

2.      On this new window, select the radio button “View or change existing e-mail accounts”. Click Next.

 

3.      Click on the account that is going to be changed. Click “Change

 

4.      After you click on Change button, you will see this window. Click on “More Settings” button.

 

5.      Make sure that in Delivery “Leave a copy of messages on the server” is unchecked.

 

6.      Click OK.

7.      Click Next

8.      Click Finish

9.      Click Send/Receive. This will download all the pop3 email from the nts-online.net account.

10.  Click on the Tools menu, as seen below, and then click on E-mail Accounts.

 

11.  On this new window, click in the circle for View or change existing e-mail accounts. Click Next.

 

12.  Click on the account that is going to be changed. Click Change.

 

13.  Change the email settings.

Change the Incoming mail server (POP3) to pop3.yourdomain.com

Change the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) to smtp.yourdomain.com.

Change the username to youremailaddress@yourdomain.com

 

14.  Make sure the “Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)” button is unchecked.

15.  Click “More settings”.

16.  In the General tab, if it says “pop3.nts-online.net” you can change the account name to pop3.yourdomain.com.

 

17.  Select the Outgoing Server tab.

In the Outgoing Server tab, check “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.” In the radio button, select “Use same settings as my incoming mail server.”   Please do NOT forget to check the checkbox and the radio button.

 

18.  Click  “OK”

19.  Click “Next”

20.  Click “Finish”
