Converting Customers Outlook Express Email Accounts to NTS New Domain Hosting System

 

  1. Open Outlook Express
  2. Click Tools -> Accounts
  3. Click the Mail tab
  4. Double click the account to be converted.
  5. On the Advanced tab, under the Delivery section, make sure “Leave a copy of messages on the server” is unchecked. 

  1. Click OK
  2. Click Close
  3. Click Send/Receive mail. This will download the remaining pop3 email on the nts-online.net account.
  4. Click Tools -> Accounts
  5. Click the Mail tab
  6. Double click the account to be converted
  7. Click the Servers tab.
  8. The incoming mail (POP3) setting will be: pop3.yourdomain.com.

The Outgoing mail (SMTP) will be smtp.yourdomain.com.

For Incoming Mail Server Account name, the user name will be your full email address, such as johndoe@yourdomain.com

 

Please make sure that you check the checkbox on the below image that says, “My server requires authentication.

 

  1. Click OK
  2. Click Close
  3. Send a test message and make sure the converted account is working.
