Converting Customers Mac Outlook Express Email Client Accounts to NTS New Domain Hosting System

 

 

1. Open the Mac Outlook Express email client

 

2. Click Tools -> Accounts

 

3. Highlight your account and click the Edit button at the top.

 

 

4. Click on the Options tab at the top.

 

5. Make sure the check box next to “Leave a copy of each message on the server” is unchecked.

 

 

6.      Click OK

7.      Close the Accounts window

8.      Click Send & Receive in the toolbar. This will download the remaining pop3 email on the nts-online.net account.

9.      Click Tools  -> Accounts

10.  Highlight your account and click the Edit button at the top.

11.  The “Incoming Mail Server” should be set to pop3.yourdomain.com

The “Username” should be set to your full email address, youremail@yourdomain.com

 

 

The “Outgoing Mail Server” should be set to smtp.yourdomain.com

Click on the button that says “Click here for advanced sending options”

Put a check in the box that says “SMTP server requires authentication”

      Also, make sure the dot is in the circle next to “Use the same settings as incoming mail server”

      Then click on the small square at the top right corner of the Sending mail box to close

13.  Click OK

14.  Close the Accounts window

15.  Send a test message and make sure the converted account is working.
