Setting up Outlook Express Email for NTS New Domain Hosting System
POP3 Server: pop3.yourdomain.com
SMTP Server: smtp.yourdomain.com
Username: youremailaddress@yourdomain.com
Email Address: youremailaddress@yourdomain.com
1. Open Outlook Express
2. Click Tools -> Accounts, then Click the Mail tab
3. Click Add -> Mail
4. Enter in your name
5. Enter in your email address. Then click Next.
6. Enter in server information. Server information will be:
7. Enter in the account name. The account name will be: youremailaddress@yourdomain.com
8. Make sure NOT to check “Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA).
Click Next.
9. Click Finish.
10. Then double click on the account you just created. This screen will appear:
11. Click the Servers tab.
Please make sure that you check the checkbox on the below image that says, “My server requires authentication.”
12. This step is a reminder:
Please do NOT forget to check the box that says, “My outgoing server requires authentication.”
13. Click OK.
14. Click Close.
15. Click Send/Receive to make sure that you are able to receive messages.
Compose a new message and send a test email.
